Peggy's Place for Kids

We’re excited to share that Peggy’s Place for Kids is officially complete and ready to serve the youth in our community! Located in the lower level of The Armory, this space was thoughtfully designed to provide kids and teens with a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where they can relax, connect with friends, and enjoy positive activities. Peggy’s Place features a large smart TV, comfortable lounge seating, a game table, foosball table, bumper pool table, and so much more, creating a fun and inviting atmosphere for both recreation and connection. New windows are scheduled to be installed in February, bringing even more light into the space.

As we prepare to launch consistent operating hours in January, we are actively seeking dedicated volunteers who are passionate about working with youth and helping support this incredible community resource. Volunteers will play an essential role in supervising the space, building positive relationships, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment during open hours.

All volunteers are required to complete both an FBI and BCI background check prior to serving. The cost of these checks will be fully reimbursed after 40 volunteer hours are completed.
